Keep it a game

Why a free game is still 18+

What is on screen copies real gambling in look, in sound and in pacing. That resemblance is why Verdant Mill is meant for adults above the legal gambling age and is aimed at nobody under 18. The confirmation is a box you tick while making your account.

Never, on this site

• Real-money gambling, offered or advertised.
• Prizes with value beyond the screen.
• Coins for sale, or any in-app purchase.
• Links to gambling operators or their affiliates.
• Countdowns and streaks that exist to make you return.

Worth saying plainly

A free game can be set up to feel generous, and this one hands your purse back whenever it empties. Paid games do neither. A winning evening here means nothing about a paid one.

What to keep an eye on

• Staying far past the time you set.
• Feeling edgy when you stop.
• Playing because of how the day went.
• Sleep, work or people getting less of you.
• Looking around for a game with real money in it.

Holding the reins

• Agree the length of the visit with yourself beforehand.
• Keep autoplay off.
• Step away now and then.
• Clearing the site's data puts everything back to nothing; blocking it in your device settings ends it for good.
